Suncorp Group Chairman announces Board change

Suncorp Group today announced the resignation of Board member Ilana Atlas who has been a non-executive director since January 2011.

Dr Switkowski said Ms Atlas had made important contributions during her three and half years with Suncorp.

“Ms Atlas has brought her strong financial services and legal experience to bear during her time on the Suncorp Board. She has made a great contribution to the Group’s development and to the Board, most recently as Chair of the Remuneration Committee and member of the Risk Committee. On behalf of Suncorp I’d like to thank Ms Atlas and wish her well in her future endeavours,” he said.

Ms Atlas is stepping down to take a non-executive position in the financial services industry.

An update on the composition of the Suncorp Board will be provided at the AGM on 23 October 2014.
