HUMAN RESOURCES GROUP EXECUTIVE APPOINTED

Suncorp today announced Amanda Revis has been appointed as the Group Executive for Human Resources. Her appointment will be effective from 16 August 2010.

Ms Revis, who will report to chief executive Patrick Snowball, has over 25 years experience in business management, strategic planning and human resources, having held senior roles at Lloyds Banking Group (HBOS Australia), Westpac, FOXTEL and the Mars Group.

Mr Snowball said Ms Revis’ responsibilities would include delivery of the employee components of the Group’s Building Blocks program.

“Amanda has a very important role to play in my leadership team as she will represent the interests of Suncorp employees at the top table as well as deliver the consistent employee infrastructure that is an important part of our strategic planning,” he said.

Ms Revis said she looked forward to her new role.

“This role offers a real opportunity to continue to develop Suncorp’s human resources capabilities as well as make a significant contribution to its strategic direction,” she said.

Mr Snowball also thanked Dharma Chandran who has been the acting group executive for human resources since April 2010.
