Strategic Minerals plc (AIM: SML; USOTC: SMCDY) has been informed that John Peters, Managing Director of the Company, today acquired on market a total of 1,300,000 ordinary shares in the Company at a price of 0.42761 pence per share.  Following this acquisition, Mr Peters has a beneficial interest in 10,000,000 ordinary shares in the Company, representing 0.82% of the Company's issued share capital.
