Holding in Company

The current board of Strategic Minerals plc (AIM:SML USOTC: SMCDY) has undertaken a review of Mr James Chisholm's shareholding in the Company.  As of today, Lenark Pty Ltd and Kifaco Pty Ltd have an aggregate interest in 44,834,954 ordinary shares in the Company, representing approximately 6.19 per cent of the Company's issued share capital.  Both Lenark Pty Ltd and Kifaco Pty Ltd hold these shares on trust for the benefit of Mr and Mrs James Chisholm.

The Company has been informed that there have been no recent changes by Lenark Pty Ltd, Kifaco Pty Ltd or Mr and Mrs Chisholm in relation to their shareholdings in the Company since February 2013, when 15,000,000 ordinary shares were acquired.
