TRADING HALT

The securities of Stellar Resources Limited (the “Company”) will be placed in Trading Halt Session State at the request of the Company, pending the release of an announcement by the Company. Unless ASX decides otherwise, the securities will remain in Trading Halt Session State until the earlier of the commencement of normal trading on Wednesday, 1 March 2017 or when the announcement is released to the market.

Request for Trading Halt

Pursuant to Listing Rule 17.1, Stellar Resources Limited (ASX:SRZ) ( Company ) requests an immediate trading halt be granted by ASX Limited with respect to the Company’s ordinary securities.

For the purposes of Listing Rule 17.1, the Company provides the following information:

• 1 the Company is seeking a trading halt in connection with a placement of new securities ( Placement );

• 2 the trading halt is requested to avoid trading in the Company’s securities taking place on an uninformed basis and to allow the Placement to take place in an orderly manner;

• 3 the Company requests that the trading halt continue until the earlier of the commencement of normal trading on the trading day after the trading halt commenced and when the Company makes an announcement to the market and requests that the trading halt be lifted;

• 4 the Company is not aware of any reason why the trading halt should not be granted or of any other information available at this stage that is relevant to the trading halt.
