New Director Appointment

The Directors of Stellar Resources Limited (ASX: SRZ) announce the appointment of Mr Miguel Lopez de Letona as a Non-Executive Director of the Company and the resignation of Dr David Isles.

Mr Lopez de Letona is an advisor to Capetown S.A. and his appointment was foreshadowed in the Capetown S.A. subscription agreement as announced in January 2014.

Mr Lopez de Letona is an experienced Belgium based investment advisor and private investor in the natural resources industry across mining, oil and gas, as well as other sectors.

For more than a decade, he was responsible for sourcing, structuring, negotiating and managing private equity investments for international clients and brings a global network and strategic contacts.

Prior to his investment advisory activities in Europe and South America, Mr Lopez de Letona was a management consultant and banker with leading financial institutions.

Mr Lopez de Letona has a degree in Business Administration from European University, Brussels, Belgium.

The Directors welcome Mr Lopez de Letona to the board and see his strong support for the Heemskirk Tin Project along with his experience and advice in financing junior resource companies as a valuable asset for Stellar Resources Limited.

Dr David Isles was a founding Director of Stellar Resources Limited and has served on the board for the past ten years. Dr David Isles has had a long relationship with Stellar and its precursor companies namely Grenfell Resources Limited and Gravity Capital Limited. David’s vision, optimism and experience in minerals exploration has been focused on creating the maximum value for Stellar’s shareholders. He was instrumental in the strategy to spin Stellar out of Gravity Capital Limited, so that Stellar’s assets received the market recognition they deserved.
