ASX RELEASE
Board Changes
Stellar Resources advises a change to Board composition as follows:
Mr Christopher Anderson, executive director, has resigned in favour of Mr Phillip Harman, who has been appointed both with immediate effect.
Mr Anderson has been a director since the time of Stellar's ASX listing, and has resigned in order to better focus on his consulting business. Mr Anderson has however advised he will remain available to Stellar as a consultant, which is very much valued.
Mr Harman is already familiar with many of Stellar's assets having previously been a director of Stellar's predecessor company, Gravity Capital Limited. In 2004, the latter’s shareholders approved the split into two entities - Gravity Diamonds and newly created Stellar Resources.
Mr Harman is a professional geophysicist who spent more than thirty years employed by BHP Billiton in minerals exploration in a broad number of roles both technical and managerial, both in Australia and overseas. Mr. Harman was material in bringing BHP Billiton's proprietary FALCON® airborne gravity gradiometer technology to Gravity Capital Limited in 2001. It was flown over various tenements now held by Stellar Resources, including Goldfinger.
The Board of Stellar wishes to thank Mr Anderson for his important contribution to date. The Board warmly welcomes Mr Harman to the Board valuing his extensive experience in the exploration and mining industry.
