Subject Litigation pertaining to stamp duty in the matter of acquisition of the Tyrecord Division at Malanpur from CEAT Limited Reference Intimation under Regulation 30 of SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosures Requirements) Regulations, 2015

Further to our letter dated 25.9.2019 and in compliance with regulation 30 and other applicable regulations of the captioned listing regulations, this is to inform that the demand raised by Collector of Stamps, Bhind (Madhya Pradesh) as confirmed by Hon'ble Supreme Court of India vide its' order dated 23rdSeptember, 2019 , consisting of stamp duty of Rs. 23.73 Crores and penalty of Rs. 5.09 Crores on the Deed of Conveyance dated 13th June, 1996 executed in relation to acquisition of captioned division from CEAT Limited, was provided for in the financials of the Company for Q2 FY2020 and paid in Q3 FY2020 to the Collector of Stamps, Bhind (Madhya Pradesh).
