Subject: Capital Expenditure proposal approved by the Board
In continuation of our earlier intimation dated 23 July 2025, wherein the Company had informed about the proposal to set up a manufacturing facility for BOPP Film at Indore, Madhya Pradesh, at a projected capital outlay of ₹490 crore, we wish to inform you that the Board of Directors, at its meeting held today, has approved an indefinite delay of the said capital expenditure proposal.
The decision has been taken in view of material evaluation in the operating environment for BOPP films, which necessitates a reassessment of the timing of this investment.
This decision reflects a prudent and market-responsive approach to capital allocation, balancing near-term demand conditions with the Company's long-term strategic objectives. The Company continues to remain well-positioned for sustainable growth, supported by its focus on diversification into new substrates, investments in downstream assets, and selective capacity expansion in higher-value segments.
We shall inform the stock exchange on further developments in due course of time.
