Subject: Update on Capital Expenditure proposal approved by the Board

This is in continuation of our letter dated January 25, 2022 intimating the approval of the Board to set up a facility to manufacture aluminium foil at an estimated cost of Rs. 425 Crores and our letter dated March 17, 2022 intimating incorporation of SRF Altech Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company for setting up the manufacturing facility for the above purpose.

We wish to inform you that cost of the project for setting up the above facility is likely to increase to Rs. 530 Crores. This is due to changes being made to the machine configuration to enhance output, product portfolio, and quality along with some increase in civil and preoperative expenses. The overall feasibility is expected to remain the same.
