Subject: Capital Expenditure proposal approved by the Board

In compliance with the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, we wish to inform you that the Board of Directors at its meeting held on July 30, 2020 has approved project for setting up of a Chloromethanes Plant at a cost of Rs. 315 Crores.

Information as required under the provisions of Regulation 30 of SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015 is as under:

a) existing capacity;	95,000 MTPA
b)existingcapacityutilization	100%
c) proposed capacity addition;	1,00,000 MTPA
d) period within which the proposedcapacityis to be added	18 Months – 31.01.2022
e) investment required	Rs. 315 Crores
f) mode of financing	Mix of debt and internal accruals
g) rationale	Strategic need to expand Industrial Chemicals portfolio
