SPORTTOTAL AG: Pre-contract for major project in the VENUES segment
– Supplier of special electronics for the exhibition & convention centre in Sakhir (Bahrain)
– Project volume in the lower double-digit million euro range
– Start of the project expected in 2020 after repeated postponement
Cologne, April 27, 2020. SPORTTOTAL Group has signed a preliminary contract with KARTEC Services SPC in Manama, Bahrain today. The core element of the agreement is the planned collaboration on the new exhibition & convention center in Sakhir, Bahrain. SPORTTOTAL VENUES GmbH will take over the area of special electronics, which will probably be implemented in the last quarter of this year. The project volume is expected to be in the low double-digit million euro range.
The project had been postponed several times due to various local circumstances. Now the project is expected to be implemented after the termination of the special measures in connection with the Corona pandemic.
