(2) LOSS PER SHARE

The calculation of the basic loss per ordinary share is based on the
Group's unaudited consolidated loss attributable to the shareholders of
approximately HK$2,942,000 (2000: HK$34,690,000) and the weighted average
number of 4,132,161,965 (2000: 3,491,179,375) ordinary shares in issue
during the six months ended 30th June 2001.

The exercise of the outstanding warrants would have an anti-dilutive
effect on the loss per share and accordingly no fully diluted loss per
share is presented.

year presentation.
