सज्ज असल्याचा केवळ देखावा करण्यात

आला. 'तोक्ते' नैसर्गिक आपत्तीत पालिका

प्रशासनाच्या मनुष्यबळाच्या मर्यादा

स्पष्ट झाल्या. वादळानंतर ४८ तासांचा

कालावधी लोटूनही रस्त्यावर पडलेल्या

मोठ्या वृक्षांच्या फांद्या बाजूला करण्यात

आलेल्या नाहीत. त्यामुळे वाहतुकीला

अडचण होत आहे. नैसर्गिक आपत्तीला

सामोरे जाताना उद्यान विभागाकडे

पूरेशी साधनसामग्री उपलब्ध नाहीत.

वृक्ष प्राधिकरणाने वेळीच वृक्षछाटणीसाठी

कंत्राटदार नियुक्त केला असता तर

मार्च–एप्रिल महिन्यांत मोठ्या प्रमाणात

वृक्षछाटणी झाली असती. त्यामळे

भार हलका झाल्याने कितीतरी झाडे

कोसळलीच नसती. मुंबईत झालेल्या

वृक्षहानीला वृक्ष प्राधिकरण समितीचा

अक्षम्य विलंब कारणीभूत आहे.

ऑगस्ट, २०२० या दोन दिवसांच्या कालावधीदरम्यानदेखील महापालिका क्षेत्रात वेगवान वाऱ्यामुळे ३५५ झाडे पडली होती.

चक्रीवादळामुळे मुंबई शहरात दोन हजार ३६४ वृक्ष उन्मळून पडल्याच्या तक्रारी पालिकेला प्राप्त झाल्या आहेत. वादळानंतर ४८ तास उलटूनही रस्त्यावर पडलेल्या वृक्षांच्या फांद्या हटविण्यात आलेल्या नाहीत. याबाबत विचारणा केली असता हे काम करण्यासाठी कंत्राटदाराची नियुक्ती झाली नसल्याचे धक्कादायक वास्तव समोर आले आहे. गेल्या तीन महिन्यांपासून वृक्षछाटणीकरिता कंत्राटदाराच्या नियुक्तीचा प्रस्ताव वृक्ष प्राधिकरण समिती समोर १८ मार्च, २०२१ पासून आजतागायत प्रलंबित असून याला जबाबदार कोण? असा सवाल करत येत्या आठवडाभरात वृक्ष प्राधिकरणामध्ये वृक्षछाटणीच्या प्रस्तावास मंजुरी देऊन प्रत्यक्ष वृक्षछाटणीस प्रारंभ पालिकेच्या या बेजबाबदार वर्तनाचा केला नाही तर मुंबई महापालिकेवर सदोष भाजपच्या सदस्यांनी स्थायी समितीच्या

पडली होती. त्यानंतर दिनांक ५ व ६

मुंबई पालिकेविरोधात सदोष वृक्षवधाची याचिका दाखल करणार भाजपची कठोर भूमिका 'तोक्ते'

अधोरेखित झाली आहे. रविवार, दि. १६ ८१२ झाडांमध्ये २४९ झाडे ही शहर परिसरातील आहेत. तर २५६ झाडे ही पूर्व उपनगरातील असून, उर्वरित ३०७ १७ मे, २०२१ रोजी पडली. तर २६७ झाडे ही दिनांक १८ मे, २०२१ रोजी पडली आहेत. बृहन्मुंबई महानगरपालिका क्षेत्रातील ८१२ झाडे पडण्याव्यतिरिक्त वादळाच्या प्रभावामूळे एक हजार ४५४

८१२ झाडे जमीनदोस्त शहरात प्राधान्याने वृक्षारोपण करणे व ते करताना प्राधान्याने स्थानिक प्रजातींचीच झाडे लावणे गरजेचे असल्याची बाब यानिमित्ताने पून्हा एकदा ते १८ मे, २०२१ या साधारणपणे तीन दिवसांच्या कालावधीदरम्यान पडलेल्या झाडे ही पश्चिम उपनगरातील आहेत. यापैकी ५४५ झाडे ही दिनांक १६ व

मुंबई, दि. १९ (प्रतिनिधी): दिनांक आली होती. मुंबईत 'तोक्ते' वादळामूळे १६ व १७ मे या दोन दिवसांत मुंबईत ज्ञालेल्या पर्यावरणाच्या या हानीवर धडकलेल्या 'तोक्ते' चक्रीवादळाने मुंबईत जीवित–वित्तहानीसह खूप मोठ्या प्रमाणात पर्यावरणाचीदेखील हानी केली आहे. या चक्रीवादळाचा मोठा प्रभाव मुंबई व उपनगरांमध्ये दिसून आला. मुंबई महापालिका क्षेत्रात वाऱ्याच्या वेगाने तब्बल ११४ किलोमीटर प्रतितासपेक्षा अधिक वेग गाठल्याचे दिसून आले. याच वेगवान वाऱ्यामूळे महानगरपालिका क्षेत्रातील ८१२ झाडे जमीनदोस्त झाली आहेत. यापैकी ५०४ झाडे ही खासगी क्षेत्रातील होती तर उर्वरित ३०८ झाडे ही सार्वजनिक परिसरातील होती. महापालिका क्षेत्रांमध्ये पडलेल्या ८१२ झाडांमध्ये प्रामुख्याने सोनमोहोर, गुलमोहोर, गूळभेंडी, रेन-टी, रॉयल पाम इत्यादी झाडांचा समावेश आहे.

या सार्वजनिक परिसरातील होत्या.

सदर कालावधीदरम्यान घडल्या. यापैकी. ७९८ फांद्या या खासगी परिसरातील झाडांच्या होत्या. तर उर्वरित ६६६ फांद्या गेल्यावर्षी 'निसर्ग' चक्रीवादळाच्या वृक्षवधाचा गुन्हा दाखल करण्यासाठी बैठकीत तीव्र निषेध केला. नवाब मलिकांच्या असभ्य टीकेची दखल घ्या! 'कोरोना' रुग्णसंख्येत

विळखा घट्ट होत असताना मात्र ताडोबा अभयारण्यात पर्यटन

करत सुट्ट्यांचा आनंद घेत होते अशी जोरदार चर्चा माध्यमांमध्ये

रंगली होती. आपल्या मतदारसंघातील कोरोनास्थितीचा आणि

कोरोनाच्या गांभीर्याचा जणु विसरच आदित्य ठाकरेंना पडला आहे

की काय? असा सवाल) मुंबईकरांच्या मनात येत होता.) मुंबईत

'ड्राईव्ह इन' लसीकरणामध्ये नागरिकांना ताटकळत लागत नाही, ते स्वतःच्या गाडीतूनच संबंधित केंद्रावर येऊन खाली न उतरता गाडीतच त्यांना केंद्रावरील डॉक्टरांकडून लस दिली जाते. लसीकरणासाठी आमदारांमार्फत आवाहन केले गेले आहे. सदर मोहीम महानगरपालिकेच्या नियमानुसारच होणार असल्याचे

बॅरिकेड्स इ. पुरविण्यात आल्या. जय घाटकोपर शिरसाट, थांबावे लीलानी,

सर्वस्तरावर उपस्थित होते.

मुंबईत शनिवारी १,४४७, रविवारी १,५४४, सोमवारी १,२४०, मंगळवारी ९५३, तर बुधवार, दि. १९ मे रोजी १,३५० नव्या कोरोनाबाधितांची नोंद करण्यात आली. त्यामुळे मुंबईत बाधितांची एकूण संख्या ६,९२,२३९ झाली. पालिका प्रशासनातर्फे देण्यात आलेल्या माहितीनुसार बुधवारी ४,५६५ रुग्ण बरे होऊन घरी परतले. ही संख्या सापडलेल्या रुग्णांपेक्षा तिपटीहून अधिक आहे. बरे झालेल्यांची एकूण संख्या ६,४६,१६३ झाली. बुधवारी ५७ रुग्णांचा मृत्यू झाला असून मृतांची एकूण संख्या १४,४०९ झाली.

पत्रात नमूद केले आहे. "माझ्यासारखे अनेक कार्यकर्ते आपल्या तालमीत आणि राजकीय संस्कारात वाढले आहेत. तसेच संस्कार देवेद्रजींनीदेखील माझ्यासारख्या कार्यकर्त्यांना दिले आहेत आणि तेच संस्कार घेऊन आम्ही आमची राजकीय वाटचाल करत आहोत. आपण आपला स्तर आणि दर्जा राजकारणात घसरू द्यायचा नाही, कुणावर वैयक्तिक टीका करायची नाही, हे तुम्ही दोघे आपल्या कार्यकर्त्यांना शिकवत आला आहात. त्यातून राजकारणाचीही पातळी राखली जाते. मात्र, राष्ट्रवादीच्या या नेत्यांनी व मंत्र्यांनी टीका करताना ही पातळी सोडली आहे,'' असे प्रसाद लाड यांनी

जशास तसे उत्तर द्यावे लागेल. हे आपल्या महाराष्ट्राच्या संस्कृतीत बसत नाही. त्यामूळे आपण आपल्या या नेत्याच्या खालच्या योग्य ती समज द्याल, ही माझी अपेक्षा आणि खात्री आहे," असे प्रसाद लाड यांनी आपल्या म्हटले आहे.

''अनिल परब यांच्यावर ताबडतोब फसवणूक करण्यासाठी मंत्रिपदाचा दरुपयोग आणि 'लॉकडाऊन'च्या नियमांना डावलून २०२०मध्ये तीन मजली रिसॉर्ट बांधल्याबद्दल गुन्हा दाखल करण्यात यावा, अशी आमची मागणी आहे. अनिल परब यांनी १९ जून, २०१९ रोजी पुण्यात राहणाऱ्या विवान साठे यांच्याकडून दापोली–मुरुड समुद्रकिनाऱ्यावर एक कोटीला ही जागा घेतली. खरेदीखत शेतजमीन म्हणून झाले, सगळी कागदपत्रं शेतजमीन म्हणून आहेत. पण, सातच दिवसांत अनिल परब यांनी २६ जून, २०१९ला ग्रामपंचायतीला पत्र लिहिल. जागा अकृषिक असल्याचा दाखलादेखील जोडल्याचं म्हटलय. पण. तो दाखला दाखवलेला नाही, तसेच दहा महिन्यांत रिसॉर्टचं बांधकाम पूर्ण केल. १० मे रोजी मी स्वतः दापोलीला रिसॉर्टवर जाऊन हा घोटाळा उघड केला. ११ मे, २०२१ला

अनिल परब यांनी बिनशेती जमिनीसाठीचा १ एप्रिल, २०१७ ते ३१ मार्च, २०२१ या काळासाठीचा चार वर्षांचा टॅक्स तलाठ्याकडे भरला

झोपडीसाठी दिलेल्या कच्च्या परवानगीची मूदत उलटून गेल्यानंतर तीन मजली रिसॉर्टचे बांधकाम केल्याचा आरोप सोमय्या यांनी केला. ''२०१५–१६मध्ये या जागेवर कच्ची झोपडी बांधण्याची परवानगी देण्यात आली होती. पण. त्यात १२ महिन्यांत ते बांधकाम करण्यासंदर्भात नमूद करण्यात आलं होत. पण, त्यांनी ते केलं नाही. २०२०च्या सुरुवातीपर्यंत तिथे कोणतंही

बांधकाम नव्हतं. त्यामुळे अनिल परब यांची ताबडतोब मंत्रिमंडळातून हकालपट्टी करावी आणि त्यांच्यावर फौजदारी गुन्हा दाखल करावा,'' असे किरीट सोमय्यांनी यावेळी सांगितलं.

दापोली-मूरुड समुद्रकिनाऱ्यावर अनिल परब यांनी केलेल्या जमीन व्यवहाराची कागदपत्रदेखील सोमय्या यांनी सादर केली असून, त्यातल्या तरतुदींनुसार अनिल परब यांनी घोटाळा केला असल्याचा आरोप केला आहे. तसेच, येत्या शुक्रवारी रत्नागिरीत जाऊन पोलीस तक्रार करणार असून, सोमवारी महाराष्ट्राचे राज्यपाल भगतसिंह कोश्यारी यांची भेट घेणार असल्याचे त्यांनी सांगितली. राज्यपालांसोबतच्या भेटीत अनिल परब यांची मंत्रिमंडळातून हकालपट्टी करावी, अशी मागणीदेखील करणार असल्याचे सोमय्यांनी यावेळी स्पष्ट केले.

दगडा चाळ पुनावकासाला ^'म्हाडा'ची परवानगी

मुंबई, दि १९ (प्रतिनिधी): गुन्हेगारी पार्श्वभूमीच्या घडामोडींमुळे कायम चर्चेत असलेली भायखळा येथील दगडी चाळ लवकरच नव्या रूपात समोर येणार आहे. या चाळीतील दहा इमारतींच्या पनर्विकासाचा प्रस्ताव विकासक आणि रहिवाशांनी म्हाडाला सादर केला असन. त्यानुसार 'म्हाडा'च्या मुंबई इमारत दुरुस्ती व पुनर्रचना मंडळाने सदरील प्रकल्पाला मंजुरी दिली असून, येथे पूढील चार वर्षांत दगर्डी चाळीच्या जागेवर ४० मजल्यांचे दोन टॉवर उभे राहणार आहेत. दगडी चाळ भायखळा येथील बापूराव जगताप मार्गावर गेल्या १२५ वर्षांपासून उभी आहे. इथल्या इमारती या गवळी यांच्या मालकीच्या असून, या इमारतीच्याही हस्तांतराची प्रक्रिया

पूर्ण करण्याचे काम सुरू आहे. या दहा इमारतींच्या पुनर्विकासाची प्रक्रिया 'लिव्हस्टोन' या विकासकाकडून सुरू करण्यात आली आहे. या इमारती उपकरप्राप्त असल्याने रहिवासी आणि विकासकाने पुनर्विकासासाठी 'म्हाडा'कडे प्रस्ताव सादर केला आहे. त्याप्रमाणे मंडळाने हा प्रस्ताव स्वीकारला असून, मालक आणि रहिवाशांना कार्यादेश दिला आहे. अशी माहिती मंडळाचे सभापती विनोद घोसाळकर यांनी दिली. ''हा प्रस्ताव संबंधित विभागाकडे पाठविण्यात येणार असून पात्रतेच्या अटींची निश्चिती झाल्यानंतर काम सूरू करण्यासाठी ना हरकत पत्र देण्यात येईल,'' असेही घोसाळकर यांनी सांगितले.

मुंबई, दि. १९ (प्रतिनिधी) नुकत्याच मुंबईसह अनेक ठिकाणी धडकलेल्या 'तोक्ते' चक्रीवादळाचा मुंबईच्या समुद्रीभागातील 'बॉम्बे हाय' क्षेत्रातील तेलउद्योगांना मोठा फटका बसल्याचे समोर आले आहे. वादळाच्या तडाख्यात सापडून 'पी–३०५' हा तराफ्याचा नांगर वाहवत गेला आणि तराफा भरकटला. त्यानंतर तराफा बूडल्याची माहिती समोर आली होती. दुर्घटनासदृश संदेश मिळाल्यानंतर नौदलातर्फे बचाव कार्याची मोहीम हाती घेण्यात आली. हाती घेण्यात आलेल्या बचावकार्यात बुधवार सकाळपर्यंत १८४ जणांना वाचवण्यात नौदलाला यश आले असून १४ कर्मचाऱ्यांचे मृतदेह मिळाले आहेत.

रविवार आणि सोमवार या दोन दिवसांत मुंबईजवळ अरबी समुद्रात 'तोक्ते' चक्रीवादळाने थैमान घातले होते. या चक्रीवादळाचा खूप मोठा फटका मुंबईच्या समुद्री भागातील 'बॉम्बे हाय' या तेल उत्खनन क्षेत्राला बसला
