Skin Elements Appoints Corporate Advisor to Drive Acquisition Strategy

Australian natural skin care company Skin Elements Limited (ASX: SKN) (Skin Elements, the Company) is pleased to announce it has engaged corporate advisory firm MMR Corporate Services Pty Ltd (MMR Corporate) as Corporate Advisors to drive Skin Elements’ acquisition strategy in the global natural skin care market.

MMR Corporate will act as Corporate Advisors and Transaction Facilitators to Skin Elements as it seeks to aggressively implement the acquisition component of its growth model.

Under MMR Corporate's engagement with Skin Elements they will closely work with its Executive Chairman Peter Malone and his corporate team to source, secure and execute value accretive merger and acquisition opportunities in the global skincare, cosmetics and other complementary sectors. MMR Corporate’s brief includes providing Skin Elements with advice on capital raising and funding strategies to support any transaction entered into, as well as providing Skin Elements with general corporate advisory services.

Skin Elements is focused on becoming a recognised leading national and international skin care company. This goal is underpinned by the Company’s growth model which is based on the core principles of; delivering sustained sales growth, entry into new major markets and product development – by brand and product extension, and value accretive acquisitions.

In addition to its continued organic growth, the acquisition component is core to the successful execution of the Company’s growth model – as evidenced by the highly successful acquisition of McArthur Skincare completed in May last year (ASX announcements, 19 April and 5 May 2017).

Skin Elements is pleased to advise that it has commenced discussions with groups in South East Asia and the Middle East in relation to potential acquisition, joint venture and distribution agreements for established global skin care products.

MMR Corporate will work the Company to expedite and maximise the commercial outcomes of any potential transaction(s) pursuant to these discussions. The Company will advise the market of any material developments in these discussions.
