Passing of Skin Elements’ Director David Humann

Australian natural skin care company Skin Elements Limited (ASX: SKN) (Skin Elements, the Company) advises with deep regret of the sudden passing following a short illness of our Independent NonExecutive Director, David Humann.

Skin Elements’ Directors, management and all staff extend their deepest sympathy and condolences to David’s family, friends and colleagues.

Mr Humann was a highly respected and regarded Chartered Accountant, who enjoyed a long and distinguished career with leading global accountancy practice Price Waterhouse Coopers (PWC), where he held a variety of senior roles including Managing Partner Asia Pacific Region, Senior Partner Hong Kong and China as well as being a member of the PWC World Board and its Global Executive Committee.

He was also a highly credentialed company director, who, prior to his passing, was Chairman of Mincor Resources NL (ASX: MCR) and a Director of Future Directions International Pty Ltd. He previously held Board positions with a number of public and private companies.

Mr Humann played an integral role at Board level in the growth and development of Skin Elements. His advice and counsel during the Company’s successful IPO and ASX listing earlier this year was invaluable, and his contribution to the Company’s corporate governance and general stewardship of the Company as a Director will be sorely missed.

The Skin Elements’ Board will convene in the near future to consider and assess the appropriate Board structure to best position the direction of the Company moving forward, and will advise of any appointment of a replacement director in due course.

As a close friend of sixteen years I will very much miss his wisdom that he provided to me personally. His enthusiasm and commitment to the corporate objectives of our business was steadfast. He will be missed by all at Skin Elements but his positive impact on the Company will endure. On behalf of the Board, management and staff, I extend my deepest condolences and thoughts to David’s family and friends at this time.”
