The order includes supply of 80 sets each of Zero-Leakage Coke Oven Doors and High-Grade Pusher Side Doors, along with 10 sets of mechanical plungers, helical springs for pusher side doors.

As Pioneers in India and World’s Largest Manufacturers of emission-free Coke Oven technology , Simplex Castings' doors deliver absolutely zero leakage, featuring high sealing performance 8-10 times superior to conventional designs, extended lifespan, and easy maintenance via cartridge-type units. This advanced capability, developed in design collaboration with Japanese Technology, solidifies our position as the go-to supplier for environmentally compliant coke production worldwide.

This order strengthens Simplex Castings' near term order book and positions the company for sustained growth in the Steel and Thermal Sector. Further details on execution timelines will be shared in due course.

Coke oven batteries are large-scale industrial structures essentially rows of interconnected coke ovens designed to convert metallurgical coal into high-quality coke through high-temperature carbonization. Some of the Key Functions are:

Coke Production : Heats coal in oxygen-free chambers at 1,000–1,200°C for 15-30 hours, yielding strong, low-impurity coke essential for blast furnaces in steelmaking.
Byproduct Recovery : Captures valuable gases like coal gas, ammonia, and tar during the process, which are purified and sold or reused for energy.
