Appointment of Chief Sustainability Officer (CSO)

-- Shree Cement [SCll today announced the appointment-of- Mr. Shrinath Savoor, as Chief Sustainability Officer (CSO) ofthe Company with effect from 9th August, 2021.

Mr. Savoor, a Fellow Chartered Accountant, will steer SCl's efforts towards strengthening of its sustainability and ESG value proposition. Mr. Savoor will focus on augmenting SCl's engagement in the areas of climate change, long term corporate sustainability and delivering inclusive growth.

The appointment will help bring more focused approach in its drive towards catalyzing sustainability as a major driver of its growth. It is a reflection of SCl's efforts to reinforce its sustainability credentials and boost stakeholder engagement.
