Extension To The Closure Of MDS Rights Issue

MDS gives notice of the extension of dates for the completion of the rights issue currently before eligible shareholders.

Valid acceptances now must be received by 5pm, Friday 4th July.

The Company announced to ASX on Wednesday June 25th 2014 the signing by the Company and Sequoia Financial Group Pty Ltd (SFG) of a non-binding Term Sheet in relation to the proposed transaction to acquire 100% of the SFG. Further details of this proposed transaction are set out in that announcement.

The Board therefore wish to extend the closure of the Rights Issue by approximately a week.
