MDS Financial Group Ltd (ASX: MWS, “the Group”), announces that Mr Damian Isbister has resigned his position as CEO of the Group and also as an Executive Director of the listed company and its subsidiaries, effective 17 July 2012.

Mr Isbister has expressed a wish to spend more time with his young family, however his association with and interest in the development of the Company will continue.

Mr Isbister undertook a number of roles over his four-year tenure with MDS, initially as Chief Operating Offi cer, as the company diversifi ed its revenue streams from software and advisory services to include a subsidiary that is an ASX participant with signifi cant share trading capabilities and client trading tools.

As CEO Mr Isbister oversaw the acquisition of ASX participant D2MX Pty Ltd, followed by the acquisition of specifi c assets of Minc Financial Services Pty Ltd (In Liquidation) and integrated these into the Group. Mr Isbister was also instrumental in reaching and fi nalising arrangements with IRESS Market Technology, which has seen the Group’s charting, data and software tools migrated and released to our customers in June of this year.

Mr Tom Boland has been appointed CEO - Stockbroking and Software, responsible for the Group’s ASX participant, D2MX Pty Ltd, Trader Dealer Online Pty Ltd and the Group’s associated software platform IRESS Trader with D2MX Trade Tools. Mr Boland has served as Manager of trading for over four years and also CEO of D2MX Pty Ltd since its acquisition by the Group in 2011. Since joining MDS Financial he has been responsible for the day to day operations of the Group’s growing trading capabilities. Mr Boland has more than ten years’ experience in the fi nance and broking industry with previous roles at Citi Smith Barney and UBS Wealth Management.

Mr Andrew Phillips is a further appointment in the position of Joint Company Secretary for the Group. Mr Phillips has served as company secretary, director and adviser on a number of publicly listed and propriety companies, and has extremely strong Corporate Governance credentials. In addition he has held a number of senior executive fi nancial and commercial management positions as Finance Director, CFO or COO for national and multinational companies. He will be based in the Group’s Sydney offi ce.

Wayne Johnson, Deputy Chairman of MDS, said that whilst Mr Isbister had resigned his CEO and Executive Director positions with the Group, he remains connected to the company and will continue to be interested in developments of the Group, its staff and stakeholders.

His contribution in streamlining the company and diversifying revenue streams through diffi cult market conditions has left the Group with an effi cient and expandable platform. “We are disappointed to see Damian relinquish his position at this time as the Group moves to further its market share from the solid foundation he has overseen for the Group”, Mr Johnson said. “Damian has our best wishes for his future endeavours and we look forward to our continued association.”
