Board Rejuvenation - Resignation of Chairman

SciDev Limited (ASX: SDV) ('SciDev' or 'the Company') today announces that as part of an ongoing Board rejuvenation process, which includes the recent appointment of independent non-executive director Dan O'Toole, Trevor Jones is resigning as Chairman of the Company after 13 years on the Board of Directors.

Trevor announced his intention to retire on the 30 th June 2021, or earlier should a suitable candidate be found. SciDev has engaged in a process to search for an experienced Chair.

Trevor said "After 13 years as Chairman of the Company and seeing the strong growth, profitability and shareholder support that SciDev has generated over recent years, the time was right for me to step aside. The group is in a strong financial position with significant opportunities ahead. I will continue in my role as Chairman while the company conducts a thorough search for a new candidate to ensure a smooth transition. I would like to thank all of the SciDev staff and shareholders over the years for your valuable input and I wish you all the best."

SciDev's Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Lewis Utting, said: "On behalf of my fellow directors and shareholders I would like to sincerely thank Trevor for his time as Chairman of the Company. The company has transformed significantly under Trevor's Chairmanship and he leaves the Company in a significantly stronger position than when he joined. On a personal front, I would like to thank Trevor for his counsel, support and guidance over recent years and I wish him all the best for the future. We have started the search for a new Chair and we will strive to find the best possible candidate that can deliver the skills and passion to continue to drive SciDev forward. I look forward to updating you on the successful completion of our search."
