SciDev awarded new PFAS water treatment contract in Victoria

• SciDev has secured a contract with Ventia to supply a Build Own Operate (BOO), temporary water treatment plant in Victoria to treat PFAS contaminated surface water.

• The contract has an initial value of approximately $2m in revenue which is anticipated to be generated across a 6-month period.

• The water treatment plant will utilise SciDev’s proprietary, market leading PFAS treatment technology - FluorofIX™.

SciDev Limited (ASX:SDV, SciDev, or the Company) is pleased to announce that it has been engaged by Ventia to undertake water treatment services in Victoria.

SciDev previously supported Ventia on a similar site, achieving a reduction in PFAS contamination to below detectable levels. Following the success of the original project, SciDev has been engaged by Ventia to treat PFAS contamination on additional sites.

SciDev will build own and operate a water treatment plant (WTP) to treat PFAS contaminated surface and groundwater. The WTP will treat PFAS-contaminated water using SciDev’s proprietary PFAS treatment technology, FluorofIX™, to remove PFAS prior to discharge.

FluorofIX™ is a mobile, fully customisable, market leading solution which has been successfully tested across a wide range of technically challenging commercial applications.
