SciDev awarded first Services Agreement in the Infrastructure Sector

Highlights

• SciDev has signed a Services Agreement with the CYP Design and Construction Joint Venture for the provision of professional services on the Metro Tunnel Project’s Tunnels and Stations works package

• The Services Agreement is SciDev’s first in the globally significant infrastructure sector

• SciDev staff will provide technical expertise to the slurry treatment plant associated with the operations of the project’s East Precinct Tunnel Boring Machines

• SciDev’s expansion into new verticals such as infrastructure highlight the Company’s ability to deliver bespoke professional services, engineering, and chemistry solutions across a range of industries and geographies

SciDev Limited (ASX:SDV; SciDev , or the Company ) is pleased to advise that it has signed a Services Agreement with the CYP Design and Construction Joint Venture (CYP D&C). CYP D&C is a joint venture between Lendlease Engineering, John Holland and Bouygues Construction responsible for the design and construction of the Metro Tunnel Project’s twin nine-kilometre rail tunnels and five new underground stations in Melbourne.

The services agreement will focus on clay and water management associated with the Tunnel Boring Machines (TBM) active on the Metro Tunnel Project – East Precinct. The professional services will be delivered by SciDev through its dedicated experts deployed on site. These experts will focus on the treatment of the TBM slurry, enabling effective dewatering, separation and disposal of solid waste and the recirculation of water to the process. SciDev staff will be engaged on a schedule of rates and quantities.

The Metro Tunnel Project in Melbourne is Victoria’s largest public transport project which will transform the way people move around Melbourne. It is scheduled for completion in 2025.
