SciDev chemistry to be trialled at Olympic Dam

Highlights

• SciDev has received a trial order from Olympic Dam, Australia's largest copper mine and one of the world's most significant polymetallic deposits.
• The trial is scheduled to last for approximately 6-months, commencing in the December quarter of CY2020.
• The trial includes an initial A$1m purchase order for SciDev's MaxiFlox chemistry, reflecting approximately 3-months of consumption.
• SciDev's MaxiFlox chemistry and process applications are being used at a growing number of key global copper mines reflecting the benefits of the Company's bespoke solutions.

SciDev Limited (ASX:SDV; SciDev, or the Company) is pleased to advise that it has received a trial purchase order with Olympic Dam, Australia's largest copper operation, owned by BHP Group Limited (ASX: BHP). Olympic Dam is a globally significant mine located in central South-Australia and operates a fully integrated processing facility from ore to metal.

The trial will focus on the utilisation of SciDev's chemistries in the Hydromet and Concentrator sections of the Olympic Dam Processing Plant. SciDev's South Australian based staff will be on site to deliver the associated professional services. The trial is anticipated to last for approximately 6 months and is scheduled to commence in the December quarter of CY2020.
