SciDev Completes Sale of Zeehan to Tartana and Secures Priority Allocation in Tartana IPO

SciDev Ltd ( SciDev or the Company ) is pleased to advise that it has completed the sale of the Zeehan Project to Tartana Resources Limited ( Tartana ).

On 22 December 2017, SciDev announced the partial completion of the transaction and the payment to it of $250,000. The balance of the transaction settlement requirements have now been undertaken, including the issue to SciDev of 5,145,000 Tartana shares, representing 19.9% of the issued capital of Tartana. The balance of the Tartana shares to be issued to SciDev, totalling 15,000,000 Tartana shares, will be issued in a tranched manner over coming months. A second cash payment to SciDev of $250,000 is expected by second quarter 2018.

Mr Kieran Rodgers, Managing Director of SciDev Ltd, has today been appointed a Director of Tartana and SciDev has secured a priority allocation of up to 50% of Tartana shares proposed to be offered under Tartana’s upcoming IPO offering (the priority allocation is capped at $2.5 million). Tartana has advised that it expects to issue its IPO prospectus in February 2018, at which time the exact quantum of the priority allocation will be known. The priority allocation will be made available to SciDev shareholders in a manner to be determined.
