Appointment of Chief Financial Officer

SciDev Ltd (ASX: SDV) (‘ SciDev ’ or ‘ the Company ’) is pleased to announce the appointment of Anna Hooper effective 6[th] December 2021. Anna will assume the role of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) from Geoff Stephenson, the Company’s interim CFO, after the publication of the Half Year FY22 financial statement.

Anna is a highly experienced finance executive with over 25 years’ experience in the transport, energy, financial services, industrial and consultancy sectors across Australia and Europe. She has held senior leadership roles including Chief Financial Officer of Wesfarmers Industrial and Safety division, Head of Commercial Finance and Capital Governance at Endeavour Energy and General Manager Finance Projects at the Australian Stock Exchange.

Anna spent twelve years working for Qantas in senior finance roles including General Manager Financial Control, General Manager Segmentation and Head of Finance Transformation.

She is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and has a Bachelor’s Degree in Experimental Psychology from the University of Oxford. Anna began her career in audit and transaction services with Arthur Andersen & Co. completing 4 years in London followed by a further 3 years in the Sydney office.
