Notification of change in a major shareholding

Reference is made to the stock exchange announcement on 9 November 2017 from SAS AB (the "Company") regarding the completion of a private placement. The Norwegian government holds 37,800,000 ordinary shares in the Company. As a result of the completion of the private placement and following the issuance of the new shares in the private placement, the Norwegian government's ownership percentage will be reduced. Thus, following the private placement, the Norwegian government's shareholding will constitute 9.70% of the total shares and 9.86% of the total voting rights in the Company. The notification of change in a major shareholding form is attached hereto.
