Sonae Capital, SGPS, SA, hereby informs that at today's Board Meeting, Mrs. Cláudia Azevedo asked the Board to be released from her role as CEO of Sonae Capital.

The Board accepted and has expressed its gratitude for the valuable contribution of Mrs. Cláudia Azevedo as CEO of the Group.

At the same meeting, the Board has elected Mr. Miguel Gil Mata as CEO of Sonae Capital for the remaining of the current mandate.

Mrs. Cláudia de Azevedo will remain as Board member of Sonae Capital, now as a Non-Executive Director.
