BOARD CHANGES

Electrocomponents plc, the world's leading high service distributor of electronics and maintenance products, announces the following Board Changes:

Adrian Auer will be standing down as Non-Executive Director at the end of June after five years on the Board. "We thank Adrian for his strong contribution over the years bringing valuable insight from his extensive experience as a Board director and wish him well for the future", commented the Chairman, Peter Johnson.

From 1 August 2014, Rupert Soames will be standing down as Chairman of the Remuneration Committee after seven years.  His other time commitments have increased following his recent appointment to Serco Group plc as Group Chief Executive.  Rupert will remain on the Board and continue in his role as Senior Independent Director.  John Pattullo will take over as Chairman of the Remuneration Committee.
