केंद्रीय प्रत्यक्ष कर बोर्ड (सीबीडीटी) ने शुक्रवार को कहा कि आयकर विभाग ने हाल ही में जम्मू-कश्मीर और पंजाब में सूखे मेवों के कारोबार से जुड़े लोगों के यहां छापेमारी के बाद 200 करोड रुपए से अधिक की बिना हिसाब की आय का पता लगाया है। बोर्ड ने बताया कि यह छापेमारी 28 अक्तूबर को की गई। यह समह पिछले कछ महीनों से सूखे मेवों की खरीद 'बढा–चढाकर' दिखा रहा था।

बयान में कहा गया, 'जब्त किए गए सबुत इस तथ्य का भी समर्थन करते हैं कि समूह के निर्देशकों ने ऐसी खरीद के लिए किए गए भुगतान के बदले बिना हिसाब की नकदी भी प्राप्त की।' इसमें कहा गया, 'एक कारोबारी जिसकी जांच की गई वह निर्धारित खातों के समानांतर बही खातों में भी हिसाब रख रहा था और दोनों बही खातों में दर्ज की गई बिक्री और खरीद के बीच काफी ज्यादा अंतर था।' कर विभाग के लिए नीति–निर्माण निकाय ने बयान में आरोप लगाया कि इन समूहों में से एक सूखे मेवों की बिना हिसाब की खरीद और बिक्री में शामिल था। बोर्ड ने दावा किया, '40 करोड रुपए का अतिरिक्त स्टाक पाया गया है। जब्त की गई सामग्री और एकत्र किए गए सबतों के विश्लेषण से पता चलता है कि समूहों में से एक बेनामी स्वामित्व वाली कंपनी भी चला रहा है।' दोनों समूहों में, आयकर अधिनियम की धारा 80क (कुछ औद्योगिक उपक्रमों से लाभ और लाभ के संबंध में कटौती) के तहत कटौती का दावा 'वास्तविक नहीं' पाया गया है और इसके लगभग 30 करोड रुपए होने का अनुमान है।
