17 December 2025, RocketDNA Ltd (ASX: RKT ) ( RocketDNA or the Company ), a technology services company specialising in AI-powered drone data solutions, has received approximately A$1M in new purchase orders from existing customers, relating to the expansion of existing autonomous drone programs.
These orders reflect increasing demand for automation, improved safety tools and faster access to geospatial data across multiple mining regions.
Land and Expand Strategy Takes Shape
RocketDNA has now deployed its xBot solution across every Australian state except Tasmania (as at 18 December 2025). Customers are reporting productivity gains and improved safety outcomes, prompting additional xBot orders to scale operational coverage.
Adoption of the Company’s SiteTube visualisation and reporting platform continues to increase. SiteTube provides real-time access to survey outputs processed through RocketDNA’s cloud-based platform, supporting planning, geotechnical review and short-interval operational control.
Mining companies are investing in technologies that improve efficiency and reduce exposure to hazardous environments. RocketDNA’s automated systems are being deployed in response to this demand.
Managing Director & CEO of RocketDNA, Christopher Clark, commented:
“Over this last year, we’ve really focused on the service delivery fundamentals and overall product mix, increasing our software portfolio.
While initial trials or single-unit projects may have taken some time to cross the finish line due to safety, cybersecurity, and regulatory processes, we knew the ROI for customers would be immediate.
What we are starting to witness now is that customers are not only scaling horizontally with more autonomous xBot deployments, but also scaling vertically with our software and data tools, entrenching us within their operational workflows.
As more customers become aware of the real-time productivity gains and safety benefits of autonomous drones, we believe that RocketDNA is strongly positioned to meet this growing demand.”

Key Customer Updates
BHP Iron Ore Contract
RocketDNA has signed its first 12-month contract with BHP Western Australian Iron Ore ( WAIO ) valued at approximately A$350k. This order represents RocketDNA’s initial deployment into BHP Iron Ore operations, with mobilisation and operational rollout expected to commence in early 2026.
The engagement is expected to include autonomous aerial survey activities using RocketDNA’s xBot platform, supporting routine mine survey workflows, ore reconciliation, and operational planning. The contract also provides for the use of the Company’s SiteTube visualisation and software platform.
Assmang - Khumani Iron Ore Mine, South Africa
RocketDNA has secured a 12-month extension for drone-based survey and data services at Khumani, one of South Africa’s largest open-pit operations. The extension includes routine survey flights, highaccuracy data processing for monthly reconciliation and on-site operational coordination. The contract is valued at approximately ZAR4M (~A$360k) through to 30 November 2026.
In addition, RocketDNA has received a new 12-month contract for two survey xBots positioned at the King and Bruce operational areas. This follows a successful proof-of-concept demonstration of the xBot platform's capability for automated survey tasks. The contract is valued at approximately ZAR2.2M (~A$200k) through to 31 December 2026.
These agreements strengthen RocketDNA’s established presence in Africa and support a scalable multi-site global operating model.
Norton Gold Fields
Norton Gold Fields continues to engage RocketDNA for survey and data services across its multiple satellite operations, supporting production, ore reconciliation and safety activities.
During the period, Norton issued additional purchase orders for two xBot units valued at approximately A$240k, reflecting increased operational usage and ongoing demand for autonomous survey capability.
Scaling up Software Capabilities to meet Growing Demand
RocketDNA’s offering continues to build upon what may start as a single-project engagement into a diverse and recurring revenue product mix, reinforced by its fleet of autonomous drone systems.
RocketDNA’s enterprise customers in WA and QLD are beginning to shift their geospatial data programs towards high-frequency routines, with work volumes rising across the board. Mining customers, in particular, have embraced the xBot platform as we see data requests for pit wall scans, haul road checks and stockpile surveys increase every month.
To meet this growing demand, RocketDNA developed SiteTube, a cloud-based visualisation and collaboration tool to support departments across mining operations, including planning, production, and short-interval control workflows.
Following its heavily subscribed capital raise earlier this quarter (ASX Announcement 3 November) , RocketDNA will allocate a portion of these funds towards its software development activities, further enhancing its SiteTube and Skylink products to meet growing customer demand for autonomous systems and real-time data, placing the Company in a strong position for long-term growth.
