RocketDNA Renews Multi-Year Contract with Mining Operations of Vedanta Zinc International for Drone Survey Services

HIGHLIGHTS

• RocketDNA (via its subsidiary RocketDNA ZA (Pty) Ltd) signs contract renewal to deliver drone surveying services for Black Mountain Mining (Pty) Ltd (majority owned by Vedanta Zinc International), in South Africa

• 3-year contract with a Total Contract Value (TCV) of AU$525k (ZAR6.453m) and Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) of AU$175k (ZAR2.151m)

• Vedanta Zinc International is owned by Vedanta Limited, the 6th largest diversified resources company in the world

5 July 2024, RocketDNA Ltd (ASX: RKT) , a global drones-as-a-service provider, is pleased to announce that it has signed a muti-year contract extension, via its subsidiary RocketDNA ZA (Pty) Ltd, with Black Mountain Mining (Pty) Ltd (majority owned by Vedanta Zinc International) in South Africa, for drone surveying services at its Gamsberg Mine.

The contract is for three years ending 31 May 2027, and has a Total Contract Value (TCV) of AU$525k (ZAR6.453m) and Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) of AU$175k (ZAR2.151m)[±] .

Black Mountain may terminate the agreement for no reason by giving three months’ notice. Otherwise, the agreement contains various other terms considered standard for agreements of this nature.

RocketDNA CEO Christopher Clark said : “We are pleased to continue our long running provision of services to a leading international mining group, Vedanta Limited through Black Mountain Mining, which started back in June 2022. Our business model of offering traditional drone services, including operating beyond visual line of site (BVLOS) services, is positioned to be an attractive outsourced solution for large mining customers. The contract renewal of three years is an increase in TCV over the prior lapsed contract of two years.
