RocketDNA selected to supply WA Police’s Drone Program

HIGHLIGHTS

• RocketDNA Ltd selected by the Western Australian Police Force to supply and deliver xBot® drones and associated systems for a 3-year period

• The dollar value of this award is not yet known as there is currently no commitment to order

• The program aims to enhance airborne law enforcement capabilities across the largest State Police jurisdiction in the world, leveraging Beyond Visual Line of Sight (BVLOS) operations

• RocketDNA's xBot® drone systems will play a pivotal role in supporting critical law enforcement and public safety operations throughout Western Australia

29 August 2024, RocketDNA Ltd (ASX: RKT ) ( RocketDNA or the Company ), a technology service company that leverages AI and Autonomous Drones to provide mission-critical services for enterprise customers, is pleased to announce that it has been selected, via a public tender process, to supply the Western Australia Police Force ( WAPOL ) with drone-in-a-box systems for the development of their Drone as First Responder ( DFR ) program.

As part of the program, drone-in-a-box systems will be strategically positioned across the State, ready for rapid deployment in a wide range of law enforcement tasks, including emergency response, surveillance, and search and rescue operations. The program will position WAPOL as a leader in adopting modern technology to enhance its operational capabilities, providing real-time intelligence that supports better decision-making on the ground for its front-line workforce.

Commenting on the successful tender, RocketDNA Managing Director, Christopher Clark said :

This opportunity opens an entire new vertical for the Company, incorporating our BVLOS and Remote Operations experience, to assist the WA Police in responding quickly and effectively to a wide range of law enforcement tasks across the state, reinforcing public safety initiatives, improving emergency responses times and assisting in better allocation of resources within WAPOL.”

Terms of Award

There is no guaranteed minimum order or formal commitment at this stage and we are therefore not able to ascertain how much revenue we will earn from this public tender award. As a preferred supplier, we have been awarded an initial 3-year period, with an option to extend for a further two, one-year periods, at the absolute discretion of the WA Police Force. This award allows RocketDNA to collaborate with WAPOL in shaping the future of DFR within Western Australia.

The Company has noted the results of the public tender process on the WA Tenders platform and will update the market as the opportunity develops.
