RocketDNA Expands Mining Contracts with xBot® Purchase Order From New Customer

• RocketDNA secures a purchase order to deploy its xBot® solution for tailings dam monitoring at a major copper mine in South Australia

• Purchase order from new customer, WSP Australia Pty Ltd (WSP), part of a global engineering firm

24 October 2024, RocketDNA Ltd (ASX: RKT ) ( RocketDNA or the Company ), a technology service company that leverages AI and Autonomous Drones to provide mission-critical services for enterprise customers, is pleased to announce it has secured a purchase order with WSP Australia Pty Ltd ( WSP ), to deploy its xBot® autonomous drone solution at a major copper mine in South Australia.

The deployment will support monitoring of tailings dam construction work and ongoing monitoring of tailings deposition. RocketDNA’s xBot® will play a critical role in monitoring this project's progress and providing real-time data to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.

The purchase order from WSP covers the initial deployment and setup of RocketDNA’s SurveyBot® solution. The purchase order’s total value is AU$243,960 which includes an upfront payment for the purchase of 1 SurveyBot®, PowerSkid, VHF radio hardware, site establishment; monthly operations for the first 6 months; and Starlink data for 12 months.

The SurveyBot® is an autonomous drone-in-a-box solution developed by RocketDNA to revolutionise data capture and analysis for industries such as mining, agriculture, and engineering. The SurveyBot® is designed to operate remotely, with minimal human intervention, and is controlled from RocketDNA’s Remote Operating Centres. It offers advanced capabilities such as aerial surveying, volumetric reporting, and real-time imaging, providing critical data for site monitoring, stockpile assessments, and mining conformance. Integrated with AI tools, the SurveyBot® automates the processing and analysis of collected data, offering fast, accurate insights that improve operational efficiency and safety. This solution reduces the need for on-site surveys, minimising travel and human risk while delivering high-frequency, actionable data.
