Delta Drone International Signs Contract with Anglo American’s Mogalakwena Mine for Drone Surveying Services

HIGHLIGHTS

  • Delta Drone International (via its subsidiary Rocketmine Proprietary Ltd) signs contract to formalise its continued delivery of drone surveying services to Rustenburg Platinum Mines Limited, Mogalakwena mine in South Africa (wholly owned by Anglo American)

  • 2-year contract (remaining) with a Total Contract Value (TCV) of AU$516k (ZAR5.864m) and Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) of AU$258k (ZAR2.932m)

  • Drone surveying services to include long range data capture of pits

17 October 2022 – Delta Drone International Limited (ASX: DLT), a Global drones-as-a-service provider, is pleased to announce its Rocketmine operating division in South Africa, has formalised as a contract with Rustenburg Platinum Mines Limited Mogalakwena, wholly owned by mining giant Anglo American, the current arrangements to provide drone surveying services.

The remaining period of the contract is approximately 2 years, ending 31 October 2024, and has a Total Contract Value (TCV) of AU$516k (ZAR5.864m) and Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) of AU258k (ZAR2.932m)[±] . Prior to contract formalisation, services were performed and billed on an ad-hoc monthly basis, comprising of ongoing project work for approximately 9 months.

The contract is subject to termination of 90-days notice and contains various other terms considered standard for agreements of this nature.

Drone surveying services are for the Mogalakwena platinum mine including weekly capturing of stockpile data and monitoring of pits, using long-range Beyond Visual Line of Site (BVLOS) data capture techniques and technology.
