ASX Announcement

BOARD CHANGES

10 April 2024, RocketDNA Ltd (ASX: RKT) , a global drones-as-a-service provider, advises of the appointment of David Morton to the Chairman role of RocketDNA Ltd. Chris Clark has transitioned from the role of Chair to focus on his role as Managing Director and CEO.

David Morton joined our Board as a Non-Executive Director in March 2023. Since this time, he has provided strong input into the Company across a range of areas including: formalising the business model, raising funds and driving the enterprise sales strategy.

With the appointment of David to Non-Executive Chairman, the Company will benefit from reorganising the Board to become more effective and to re-shape roles respective of stronger governance norms by separating the Chairman and CEO roles, while remaining lean and not adding headcount. Importantly, this change will allow David to play to his strength and formally lead the Board whilst freeing up CEO Chris Clark’s time to concentrate on driving the business forward.

David has extensive experience as Chairman and Director of ASX listed and unlisted technology companies with global footprints and has had a successful career in banking with 40 years spent across Westpac Banking Corporation and HSBC across APAC. David is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD), holds a degree in accounting from Victoria University and has attended the Advanced Management program at INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France.

David Morton said : “I am delighted to move into the Chairman role and lead the Board during this very exciting time for the Company. Much has been achieved in the last 12 months and as a Company we are excited by the times ahead and its growth prospects. I look forward to continue working with Chris and his team. I am fully aligned with the Company’s success as demonstrated by buying shares on market during the past 12 months and in participating in our recent share placement to fund the autonomous drone solution (xBot®).”

RocketDNA CEO Christopher Clark said : “David has been an invaluable addition to the Board, providing support and guidance not only from a strategic and corporate governance perspective, but has also demonstrated his long-term commitment via the recent raising. I look forward to working with David in achieving our mission of democratising geospatial drone data for enterprise customers at this exciting phase of the Company, allowing myself more capacity to focus on the significant opportunities the business is generating, including the progressing of our xBot® trials into contracts in the near term.”

This announcement has been authorised for release by the Board of RocketDNA Ltd.
