Reece Group to acquire Heatcraft New Zealand Operations

Today the Reece Group announces it has agreed to acquire Heatcraft’s New Zealand Operations from Swedish company, Beijer Ref. Heatcraft is a leading supplier of wholesale refrigeration across Australia and New Zealand.

The move expands Reece’s footprint across the North and South Islands of New Zealand from 11 to 18 locations, and extends its customer offering to include wholesale refrigeration.

Of the acquisition, Reece Group CEO and Managing Director Peter Wilson says, “With a comprehensive product range, the acquisition of Heatcraft’s New Zealand operations will enable us to build on our solid base in the region, and broaden our customer offering.”

The transaction is due to be completed in six weeks.
