Stuttgart, January 31, 2007: Business Media China AG (ISIN DE0005250401,
German Securities Code 525 040) is a specialist for media and marketing in
China, and has been able to reinforce its operational management team in
China with two new top managers. In so doing, the company plans to acquire
key advertising budgets for exterior advertising and take further major
steps along its track to continued growth.

In addition to the appointment of Mr. Li Yang Yang to the AG’s Managing
Board, as already communicated, Business Media China now also enjoys the
support of Ms. Mo Li Yan (52) and Mr. Wen Wu (38). Mo Li Yan will act as
president of BMC CHINA Advertising Co. Ltd. She is regarded as being the
'Grande Dame' in China’s exterior advertising, and was recently COO and
General Manager with JCDecaux, the Chinese market leader for exterior
advertising. Ms. Mo has played a key role in designing the Chinese media
landscape for exterior advertising in this, her most recent role, and in
other executive positions, and can call upon an extensive network, in
particular of major advertising clients.

Mr. Wen Wu, the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of BMC CHINA Advertising
Co. Ltd., is also regarded as being one a top dog in the Chinese media
industry. Mr. Wen also comes from the key competitor JCDecaux, where he
held various leading positions. Wen Wu and Mo Li Yan’s decision to join BMC
AG has created a stir in China’s advertising market. Business Media China
thus has to of the most important and most recognized experts for exterior
advertising in China on its payroll.

2.5 billion were spent on exterior advertising in 2006, with an annual
