Completion of West Kambalda Sale Process

• Ten West Kambalda tenements sold to Ramelius Resources for $300,000 and 1.5% NSR on all minerals other than nickel

• Breakaway retains all Nickel Rights on the tenements

• Breakaway continues to sharpen focus on its priority copper - gold assets in the Cloncurry region of North Queensland

Further to its ASX Announcement of 8 February 2012, Breakaway Resources Limited (ASX: BRW – Breakaway ) advises that it has now completed the sale of ten West Kambalda tenements to Ramelius Resources Limited (ASX: RMS – Ramelius ) for total consideration comprising $300,000 in cash (net), and a Royalty being the total of 1.5% of the Net Smelter Return (NSR) on all minerals other than nickel ..

Breakaway continues to retain the Nickel Rights on the tenements as part of the Sale and Purchase Agreement with Ramelius.

The tenement sale is consistent with Breakaway’s previously announced strategy of rationalising its extensive Australian minerals portfolio, thereby allowing the Company to focus its ongoing exploration activities on the highly prospective Eloise copper-gold exploration project located in the Cloncurry District, Queensland.
