Resignation of Non-Executive Director

Gold producer, Ramelius Resources Limited (ASX: RMS) advises that Mr Ian Gordon has resigned as a Non-Executive Director of the Company effective as at 31 August 2014.

Mr Gordon joined Ramelius in 2007 as the Company’s Chief Operating Officer and was appointed Chief Executive Officer on 1 August 2009 and subsequently Managing Director in October 2010. In June 2014 he ceased acting as Managing Director and continued on the Board as a Non-Executive Director without remuneration. Mr Gordon was succeeded by Ramelius’ then Chief Operating Officer, Mr Mark Zeptner as Chief Executive Officer.

Mr Gordon advised that his decision is based on a need to focus his efforts on his new external role.

The Board expresses its sincere gratitude to Mr Gordon for his leadership and contribution to Ramelius and wishes him every success in the future.
