SENIOR MANAGEMENT APPOINTMENT

The Directors of Australian gold producer, Ramelius Resources Limited (ASX:RMS), are pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Mark Zeptner as the Company’s Chief Operating Officer, effective from 1 March 2012.

Mr Zeptner is a Mining Engineer with extensive experience in both open pit and underground mining in Western Australia, including 19 years with WMC Resources and Gold Fields Limited.

Commenting on the appointment, Ramelius’ Managing Director Mr Ian Gordon, stated: “Mark is an excellent appointment for the Company and will bring his extensive experience in developing and managing gold projects to ensure our future growth is managed in the most efficient possible manner”.

Ramelius is currently studying the potential to increase its emerging Mt Magnet gold production in WA from 1.7mtpa to 2.4mtpa and has recently agreed to acquire another three WA gold projects, which will be brought into production once the acquisitions are finalised.
