RE: Private Placement of Shares, AusINDUSTRY Grant and Appendix 3B

The company wishes to advise that a Private Placement of \$350,000 has been received, as approved at the recent Annual General Meeting 2002 of the Company. Accordingly, a total of 9,999,879 fully paid ordinary shares (priced at \$0.035) have been issued on January 14, 2002.

The shares were issued to provide for additional working capital for the Company to fund domestic and overseas marketing programs and the development of additional monitoring infrastructure. As previously stated, the Company is actively involved in a number of monitoring and evaluation programs with major pharmaceutical companies both locally and overseas, and it is anticipated that sales revenue will be forthcoming from these activities.

Further, the Company has received \$317,418 for qualifying expenditure incurred on the Company's R&D activities for the financial year 2001/2002. This payment has been authorised through AusINDUSTRY and the Australian Government (ATO).

Attached please find the relevant Appendix 3B documentation.
