SubZero appoints Chief Financial Officer

SubZero Group Limited (ASX code: SZG) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Robert Lojszczyk as Chief Financial Officer of SubZero Group Limited.

Robert has more than 30 years experience in senior finance management roles and has extensive experience in the Mining Resources and Manufacturing Sectors within BHP, BHP Billiton and BlueScope Steel. Robert has had responsibility for IT and has worked in underground mining and open-cut mining in both Australia and the USA. Within BHP he also held various senior finance positions in Treasury and Steel Corporate.

Whilst at BlueScope Lysaght as Vice President Finance, he managed the strategic planning, procurement, logistics and finance functions and project managed a major transformation initiative to improve profitability and business sustainability. In that role he oversaw the growth of the business, both organically and through a number of strategic acquisitions.

Robert is currently the Chief Financial Officer of Cobbora Holding Company Pty Ltd. Prior to that, he held similar positions at the Thrifty Car Rental (NRMA) and Vinidex.

Managing Director, Mr Scott Farrell, commented on the appointment, ‘we welcome Robert onto our management team, we believe his strategic financial management skills will assist us in reaching our growth targets for FY14 and beyond.’

Robert holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) and a MBA from the University of Newcastle and is a Fellow CPA.
