QPR SOFTWARE PLC TO ACQUIRE ITS OWN SHARES

QPR SOFTWARE PLC STOCK EXCHANGE BULLETIN MAY 5, 2010 at 9.00 a.m. QPR SOFTWARE PLC TO ACQUIRE ITS OWN SHARES QPR Software Plc´s Board of Directors has decided, according to the authorization granted by the Annual Shareholders' Meeting on March 18, 2010 to acquire its own shares. According to the authorization the company may acquire own shares in order to strengthen the company's capital structure, to be used as payment in corporate acquisitions or when the company acquires assets related to its business and as part of the company's incentive programs in a manner and to the extent decided by the Board of Directors, and to be transferred for other purposes or to be cancelled. The authorization granted by the Annual Shareholders' Meeting is in force until the next Annual Shareholders' Meeting. The acquisition of own shares will start at the earliest on May 12, 2009. The shares will be acquired through public trading on NASDAQ OMX Helsinki Ltd at the market price prevailing at the time of acquisition. According to the decision by the Annual Shareholders' Meeting the company may acquire a maximum of 250,000 own shares.
