Global Economic Overview

Global inflation continues to fester, with prices rising steadily.

• The IMF lowered its forecast for global economic growth in 2023 to 2.7% (down 0.2%).

• The contractionary policy lead the inflation stay on plateau period.

• FED raises interest rates to against inflation, has raised 15 yards in 2022.

• U.S. Department of Labor announced that Core CPI is 6.6%, is the biggest inflationary spike in 40 years.

• The FED raised interest rates by another 3 yards in November 2 and has raised 15 yards this year.

• China's economic development recovery from the bottom .

• China reported in end-September that its Q2 GDP was 3.9%, rising by 3.5% from Q2.

• The continued contraction of policy will continue to pose a threat to the recovery.

Taiwan cut economic growth rate and WPI index rised.

• GDP growth for 2022 was revised down to 3.28%. (down 0.28%).

• The WPI was increasing 12.79% than the previous year.
