ProfilGruppen in the process of acquiring business

ProfilGruppen has initiated a process to acquire a business in Poland.

The acquisition plan contains properties and equipment in a business similar to ProfilGruppen's in focus and potential size, yet with a complementing product range.

The business concerned is in serious difficulties and has been reduced to a fraction, but used correctly, the equipment complements ProfilGruppen's and provides new opportunities.

An acquisition would mean a lot of work and responsibility to re-build the company and maintain a critical part of the current workforce. However, this also enables a more limited financial risk compared to other ways of acquiring equivalent capacity and opportunities.

ProfilGruppen has unique possibilities and complementary resources to re-build and develop the Polish business.

The investment has been initiated, which means a risk of losing invested resources. The acquisition is relatively large for ProfilGruppen, and challenging risks include a slower re-building of the business than anticipated, with assets not being fully utilized for a few years. This also involves additional investments in restart costs and equipment.
