Retirement of Director – Mr Elliott Kaplan

Mr Elliott Kaplan, Non-Executive Director of Pro-Pac Packaging Limited (ASX: PPG) today announced his intention to retire from the Board. Elliott has had a very extensive and influential involvement in Pro-Pac over a number of years. He was instrumental in the listing of Pro-Pac on the ASX in 2005 and since then has served on the Board as a Non-Executive Director, including Non-Executive Chairman from 2011 to 2015.

Elliott played an integral role in steering the Group through a period of strong acquisitive and organic growth to become one of Australia’s leading industrial and rigid packaging suppliers.

The Board is well progressed in its selection process to appoint a new non-executive Director who will also assume Elliott’s current role of Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee and Elliott has agreed to remain on the Board to facilitate a smooth transition to the new appointee.

The Board wishes to thank Elliott for his valued contribution to Pro-Pac for over thirteen years and for his strategic insight and experience that he has brought to the boardroom over that time. Elliott retires with the Board’s best wishes for the future.
