PRO-PAC APPOINTS NEW DIRECTOR

Pro-Pac Packaging Limited (ASX:PPG) today announced that Ms Leonie Valentine will join the PPG Board with effect from 1 August 2018, as a Non-executive Director.

Leonie’s executive experience includes over 25 years’ experience in sales, marketing and operations, including 19 years in technology and telecommunications sectors.

Leonie Valentine is currently Managing Director, Sales & Operations of Google Hong Kong, originally joining Google in 2014 as APAC Director of Customer Experience. Prior to joining Google, Leonie was Executive Vice President, Customer Service & Operations at CSL Limited. Earlier, she held a number of senior management positions with Telstra Corp and was a member of the Executive Leadership Team charged with managing Telstra International Group’s business growth and assets outside of Australia and New Zealand.

It is proposed Ms Valentine will join the company’s newly established People, Culture and Innovation Committee, incorporating the former Remuneration and Nomination Committee, which will be chaired by PPG Chairman, Mr Ahmed Fahour.

PPG Chairman, Ahmed Fahour said, “We are delighted to have someone of Leonie’s calibre and leadership skills join our Board. With our planned growth opportunities, Leonie’s experience across digital technologies, customer experience and cultural integration will be a great complement to the Board and Management team.”
