PRO-PAC APPOINTS NEW DIRECTOR

Pro-Pac Packaging Limited (ASX:PPG) today announced that Ms Marina Go will join the PPG Board with effect from 1 August 2018, as a Non-executive Director.

Marina’s executive career includes over 20 years’ experience in branding, marketing, digital technologies and change leadership in the media industry.

Marina Go is currently a Non-Executive Director for 7 Eleven, Energy Australia and Autosports Group. Marina was previously Country CEO for The Hearst Corporation and held a variety of senior positions across the media industry, including Fairfax, Independent Digital Media, Pacific Magazines and EMAP Australia.

It is proposed Ms Go will join the company’s newly established People, Culture and Innovation Committee, incorporating the former Remuneration and Nomination Committee, which will be chaired by PPG Chairman, Mr Ahmed Fahour.

PPG Chairman, Ahmed Fahour said, “We are delighted to strengthen and diversify our Board’s experience with the appointment of Marina. With our plans to position PPG as a innovations leader, Marina’s skills and experiences will be a great asset to the Board and Management team.”

Ms Marina Go’s appointment along with the recent announcements of Mr Darren Brown and Ms Leonie Valentine now completes the renewal of the Board. Following the retirements of former Non-Executive directors, Dr Gary Weiss and Mr Brandon Penn, Mr Elliott Kaplan will retire at the end of August. With these Board appointments now completed and the integration of IPG and PPG well underway, Mr Ahmed Fahour will return to his former role of Non-Executive Chairman, effective from 1 August, 2018. Mr Fahour will continue to work closely with the Board and Management focusing on the company’s growth, people & culture and innovation strategy.
