27[th] November 2008
ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING – 27 NOVEMBER 2008
EXECUTIVE CHAIRMAN’S ADDRESS
The Past Year – FY 08
Soil Sub Technologies Limited (“the Company”) listed on the Australian Securities Exchange on the 27 March 2008. At the time the Company made the decision to list in November 2007, the share market was at its peak. Unfortunately, by the end of March 2008, conditions had deteriorated, and as you all know, this deterioration has gathered a huge momentum since listing date.
Not withstanding the current world financial and economic situation, your Directors believe that Soil Sub Technologies Limited has a huge future.
Other than the difficulty in raising capital prior to listing, the only other set back to date has been the timing relating to the first royalty payment due from the Timms Cho Group for the first stage of the Biodiesel Project. Although the Timms Cho Group currently have a nursery stock of 50 million seedlings that have been established and are thriving, the planting out of the first 100,000 hectares of seeds and seedlings by the Timms Cho Group has now been delayed until the Chinese spring. While once established the Wilsonia trees that will be used in this project are not affected by harsh winters, the seedlings cannot be successfully established during winter. As a result, the decision was made by Timms Cho and their Chinese partners to plant in the coming spring. As a result of this decision, the first payment due under the Agreement with the Timms Cho will not be received until these trees are planted during 2009.
Corporate
Fundraising
As a result of the delay in the royalty payments, the Company is in the process of raising additional capital to help advance and develop programmes detailed below.
Management
On the 12[th] September 2008, the Company appointed Mr Terry Timms as Managing Director, and James Callianiotis remains on the Board as Marketing Director.

Australia
Pilot and Full Scale Production Plants
Promotion and sales of NutriMix is proceeding well. A pilot production plant was established and has produced NutriMix products for sales and additional trials that are currently being conducted in the golf industry. Planning is well advanced for the establishment for a permanent full scale production plant to service the Australian market.
Research and Development
An ongoing research and development programme is being conducted in Queensland to expand the range of applications of NutriMix.
China
Biodiesel Project
As stated above, the first stage of the Biodiesel Project, that is the planting of the first 100,000 hectares has been delayed for a period of approximately six (6) months. However, the Company believes that this project will proceed as planned albeit slightly delayed.
Beijing Desert Project
In addition to the Biodiesel Project, a Heads of Agreement has also been signed between the Company and the Timms Cho Group in relation to the Company’s participation in the Beijing Desert Project. The Timms Cho Group has signed a tripartite agreement with the Chinese Central Government instrumentally and a large Chinese company, which requires the use of NutriMix in a desert reclamation project that relates to the large desert west of Beijing. The Timms Cho Agreement relates to the reclamation of 400,000 hectares of desert and provides for the use of NutriMix on a 13 hectare trial area, and subject to a successful trial, Chinese government grants totalling US$6 billion have been approved to fund the reclamation of the 400,000 hectares. The trials are similar to the highly successful trials conducted by the University of the United Arab Emirates.
Under the Heads of Agreement, the Company and Timms Cho Group have agreed to negotiate an extension to the existing China agreement between the two companies to include the Beijing Desert Project.
Middle East
A Heads of Agreement has been signed within an organisation which has an extensive network throughout the Middle East region for the promotion and sale of NutriMix. Under the Heads of Agreement, a joint venture company has been formed and a shareholders’ agreement is in the process of being finalised.

Resource Procurement
A programme has been developed to analyse the sourcing cost and available volumes of raw materials from around the world to optimise the delivered costs of NutriMix. Negotiations are underway to secure long term contracts for these resources.
Outlook for Year 2009
China
The Company believes that the first stage of the Biodiesel Project will be completed during the 2009 year. In addition to the royalties, this will also trigger the payment of the first instalment of the licence fee.
The Company also believes that substantial income will be earned from the Beijing Desert Reclamation Project during 2009.
Middle East
As a result of the signing of the Heads of Agreement, enquiries are already being received from several substantial organisations operating in the United Arab Emirates for the use of NutriMix.
The Company expects substantial sales to be effected in this region during 2009.
European Union
Negotiations are continuing for the approval to import NutriMix into the EU. It is hoped that this will be achieved towards the end of 2009.
Overall, your Directors believe that the Company has a huge future. Not withstanding the current world economic situation, providing it has sufficient working capital, your Directors believe that 2009 will be a very positive year for Soil Sub Technologies Limited.
